Admin Assistant (37 hours)

We are looking for a friendly and hardworking Admin Assistant to work in the school office, support our pupils and complement our wonderful team.  Could this be you?

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a popular and friendly school situated in pleasant grounds in Weston on the edge of the historic City of Bath.

For the Admin role, applicants should:

  • Work proactively and flexibly within a highly motivated and successful team
  • Be an excellent communicator with pupils, parents and staff members alike
  • Have at least 12 months previous clerical, typing or receptionist experience
  • Have evidence of a good basic education, including GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Have a friendly and courteous manner
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Be confidential, trustworthy and calm
  • Have the ability to work under pressure in a busy office environment
  • Show attention to detail and be well organised
  • Have a good manner with adults and children
  • Have a good sense of humour
  • Support the distinctive ethos and Christian values of our Catholic school

KS1 Teacher (full-time, maternity cover)

The Governing Body of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an  enthusiastic, qualified teacher for our happy and friendly school which is situated in the beautiful city of Bath. Could this be you?

This vacancy would suit an experienced teacher or early career teacher. This position is temporary (until March 2023) due it being a maternity cover but there is a possibility that the permanent post holder may return earlier.
